Welcome to the Borough Green Badminton Club web site!

We are a friendly club which plays with Yonex feather shuttles and currently enters one ladies', one men's, one mixed and one veterans' team in the Tunbridge Wells Badminton League.  Our club nights are held on most Tuesday evenings from the beginning of September until the end of May, between 8:00 and 10:00 pm, at The Hayesbrook School, Brook Street, Tonbridge, Kent (see Directions page); in June we move to a smaller venue (this varies season-by-season) as we no longer need 4 courts.  We do not play in July or August due to the significantly reduced attendance levels as the result of Summer holidays. 

 

We normally welcome visitors with genuine playing potential to attend club nights, although we would be grateful if you would contact the club in advance to ensure that numbers of visitors are not too high on any particular evening as our prime responsibility has to be to our members.  Current visitors' fees are listed on our Fees & Subscriptions page;  you may visit on up to three occasions, at which point

a decision will be made by the committee whether to offer you club membership.
